DCI Cliftons Reference

To whom it may concern,

Dear Sir /Madam,

Design Chamber International (DCi)

We have worked on all of our projects in Hong Kong with DCi. The first Clifton facility was at the 6th floor Lincoln House which was published in PRC magazine. As with each of the projects Steve has been involved in together we pushed new design boundaries and the facility was extremely well signposted with super graphics making it easy to use for our customers.

In terms of management this project was tendered but we later used the same contractor recommended as they have been consistently helpful and extremely trust worthy and we have always been able to stay on time and on budget through DCi’s careful project management. Our second Project together was at the 33rd floor 9 Queens Road and again the design was pushed with a huge wave ceiling and memorable fish reception desk that our clients always commented on and was a good reflection of our Australian roots. This Project was extremely flexible and we could manage events for 400 people or provide serviced offices for individuals. The space plan made the most of stunning views from the heart of the building. Again this was published and licensed by the Education Authorities.

The most recent project in 5th Floor Hutchinson House was put together in an extremely short time and is a testament to the organizational skills of DCi. In a total of seven weeks the project was completed with only 4 weeks on site. Major elements like the acoustic partitions and raised floor were ordered within days of DCi appointment so that 2 days after handover complex cabling could be laid and partitions put up that would surely meet the acoustic partitions. DCi also successfully opened up the ceilings which were an oppressive 2150 high and the solution was both cost effective, solved lighting issues and gave many areas over 2.6m floor to roof height.

Our trust in DCi meant we maintained bookings over the relocation with no cancellations. Other Projects DCi have worked on include two restaurants on Wyndham street: Zest and the Frog faced Fish. Zest was particularly difficult for compliance as it is one of the three remaining licensed loft shop units and we were able to get through the entire USD regulations to a timely opening. Two flats have also been renovated for my own use.

We have no hesitation in recommending Design Chambers for interior design and project management.

Yours Faithfully,

Andrew Cameron
